    Job Description

    A large data center operations client of Insight Global is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a data center environment, including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and electrical distribution systems.

     

    This role will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and uptime, as well as identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards or code violations to management.

     

    Salary: $65,520

    Skills and Requirements

     

    High school diploma or equivalent

     

    Valid Journeyman Electrician License or 250 hours remaining to obtain license

     

    5+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician in a commercial or industrial setting

     

    Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations

     

    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

     

    Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams OSHA 10 Certification

     

    MEO (Material Equipment Operator)

     

    NFPA-70E Certification
