Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with strong expertise in backend development and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and have at least 5 years of hands-on experience developing backend systems, with strong proficiency in Java programming. This role requires 3–4+ years of OpenShift experience, preferably with OpenShift for AWS (ROSA), and proven ability to develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS. The candidate should have experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and be familiar with tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Splunk, New Relic, and Grafana. Knowledge of distributed systems and technologies like Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Storm is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills are essential, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of contributing to UI changes when needed, ensuring seamless integration between backend and frontend components.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• 3-4+ years of OpenShift experience, preferably with OpenShift for AWS (ROSA)

• 5+ years of hands-on developing Backend systems.

• Strong programming proficiency in Java

• Experience in developing and deploying cloud-native application on AWS

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, etc.

• Familiarity with Elastic search, Kafka, Storm etc is a plus.

• Excellent analytics, problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration ability

Ability to contribute to UI changes
