Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for one of our largest financial services clients 5 days a week in NYC. This individual is required to be hands-on with classic Tier 2 support functionalities themselves, not only having other folks in previous environments doing this work. This candidate will provide comprehensive support to front and back-office staff across multiple business lines. Additionally, they will play a key role in maintaining desktop infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a high level of user satisfaction. From configuring monitors, doing work such as password resets, group creation & management, moving PCs between containers, setting up profiles in Office 365, this role is essential to maintaining the congruency and work flow of the firm. Overall, the role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Skills and Requirements
• 3-5+ years of Desktop Support experience in a corporate environment (NOT CONTRACT HOPPY).
• Strong experience with Office365 applications like Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.
• Strong understanding and hands-on work with Windows, PC hardware and troubleshooting.
• Active Directory experience (full ownership of tasks, not via 3rd party).
• Basic networking knowledge with tools such as IP configuration, hostnames.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and/or other financial applications.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
• Excellent communication skills; resume must align with actual experience. • PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
