    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are seeking a highly skilled and service-oriented

     

    Corporate Pilot

     

    to join our flight operations team. This role offers the opportunity to fly modern, well-maintained aircraft in support of a purpose-driven organization that values professionalism and safety. The Corporate Pilot serves as a trusted aviation professional, ensuring safe, efficient, and discreet air transportation for employees and business guests.

     

    This position is ideal for a pilot who takes pride in operational excellence, enjoys diverse mission profiles, and values being part of a close-knit, respected organization.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    + Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC), as assigned, for cooperative flight operations.

    + Ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and airmanship in all phases of flight.

    + Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including weather analysis, flight planning, and risk assessment.

    + Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

    + Coordinate with the Chief of Maintenance to ensure aircraft airworthiness.

    + Deliver a professional, confidential, and customer-focused experience for passengers.

    + Participate in recurrent training, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Represent the cooperative with professionalism at all times, both in the air and on the ground.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate.

    + Current First-Class or Second-Class FAA Medical Certificate.

    + This position is subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing per Basin Electric requirements.

    + A valid driver’s license is required.

    MINIMUM FLIGHT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    + Minimum flight experience requirements:

    + Total Time: Approximately 2,000 hours.

    + Pilot in Command (PIC): Approximately 1,000 hours.

    + Multi-Engine: Approximately 50 hours.

    + Turbine Time: Approximately 500 hours.

    + Instrument Hours: Approximately 25 hours.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Type rating or experience in the Cessna Caravan and/or Cessna Citation aircraft.

    + Prior Part 91 corporate aviation experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Aviation, Aviation Management, Aviation Safety or other aviation related field.

    + Strong CRM skills and a collaborative operating style.

    KEY SKILLS

    + Strong instrument proficiency and experience operating in diverse weather conditions.

    + Demonstrated commitment to safety, professionalism, and standardization.

    PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

    This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position and to move about the office building, constant use of a keyboard/computer and other office productivity machinery, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, use of foot controls, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, and turning valves. Hand and power tools for aircraft maintenance are frequently used. This position requires finger dexterity, the ability to perform close work, and good color vision and hearing. The incumbent frequently works in noisy conditions flying at an altitude up to 45,000 feet. This position will be exposed to sun radiation during flight. Approximately 60-80% of the incumbent's time is spent flying an aircraft not only during normal business hours but also throughout evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    PREFERRED FLIGHT EXPERIENCE

    + Total Time: Approximately 3,000 hours.

    + Pilot in Command (PIC): Approximately 1,200 hours.

    + Multi-Engine: Approximately 500 hours.

    + Turbine Time: Approximately 1,000 hours.

    + Instrument Hours: Approximately 100 hours.

    SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL

    + Predominantly weekday flying with planned trips; some short notice travel and occasional weekend trips.

    + Mixture of day trips, overnights, and multi-day trips.
