Lead Project Specialist

As a Lead Project Specialist you will serve as a key member of branch project management team and expert user of SAP to ensure customer satisfaction, taking a proactive approach to servicing the Company's customers on project orders.
In this role you will:
+ Perform order entry of job orders, particularly the larger, more difficult projects, including order acknowledgements to customers.
+ Coordinate fixture packages and gear releases, including expediting of drawings and approvals, updating shipping schedules to customers, expediting deliveries with suppliers, and coordinating warehouse deliveries to ensure on time performance.
+ Execute accurate job lot billing to customers utilizing software, and process supplier invoices on projects for payment.
+ Produce various reports for customers and suppliers from project software throughout project period.
+ Provide training and guidance to less experienced Project Specialists as needed
What you bring to the table:
+ 3 years’ experience
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 5+ years’ experience: some customer service and electrical industry experience preferred
+ Four-year degree preferred
+ Knowledge of the Company's products and services
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Strong knowledge of SAP
+ Oral and written communication skills
+ Strong customer service skills
+ Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally
+ Ability to be detail oriented
+ Ability to influence without authority
+ Ability to mentor and train peers
**Shift and hours:** Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.
**Compensation details:** The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $36.86 per hour, depending on experience.
