Job Title: Assembler $17

Job Description

We are expanding our footprint in the woodworking industry and are in need of general assemblers to join our team. The role involves the general assembly and production of wood containers, crates, and platforms. Candidates with prior assembly, building, carpentry, and/or nail gun experience are preferred. You will start in general assembly, which is the highest volume and easiest work, and have the opportunity to work into other areas such as custom assembly and machine operation.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble wood containers, crates, and platforms.

+ Utilize hand/power tools, nail guns, measuring tools, stapling tools, and basic cutting saws.

+ Stand for the entire shift and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with general labor and production.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to operate a nail gun and read a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with forklifts.

+ Experience with saws.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
