    Job Title: 2nd Shift Extrusion Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 2nd shift Production Operators. In this role, you will be trained to operate a variety of extrusion equipment, ensuring production quality and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and set up machines based on production orders.

    + Check operating controls and safety of equipment prior to operation.

    + Obtain materials for processing from inventory bins and report any issues.

    + Monitor material quality for defects and adjust machine parameters as needed.

    + Label and pack finished products per work order instructions.

    + Review work orders and drawings, resolving any conflicts.

    + Wear a respirator as required during machine setup.

    + Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.

    + Comply with OHSA safety standards and notify supervisors of potential hazards.

    Essential Skills

    + 2 years of machine operator experience.

    + Experience working with large machines and materials.

    + Ability to operate, package, and handle materials.

    + Experience in extrusion, compounding, and general production.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

    + Experience in heavy labor, machine operating, carpentry, or construction.

    + Good attendance and reliability.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

    + Fast learner with patience and self-motivation.

    + Some power tool and mechanical skills.

    + Basic Microsoft Office skills.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.00/hr.
