    Job Title: HVAC/R Service Technician** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as an HVAC/R Service Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of HVAC systems including refrigeration units, ice machines, chillers, and split systems. Your expertise will ensure the efficiency and reliability of our clients' HVAC systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform HVAC refrigeration maintenance and repair.

    + Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units including package units, roof top units, and split systems.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment and systems.

    + Service and maintain chillers, condensers, and ice machines.

    + Respond to and resolve service calls efficiently within a designated timeframe.

    + Ensure timely communication of customer HVAC issues within two hours.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

    + Experience with refrigeration systems, split systems, and package units.

    + EPA 608 Universal certification is required.

    + Capability to perform service calls and communicate effectively.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

    + Ownership of personal hand tools is necessary.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, handling 3-5 service calls per day. Service areas include Long Island and Queens, making it convenient for those based in Nassau or Queens. Technicians must have a place to park their service van.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
