Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of our facilities, equipment, and assets. This role requires expertise in various craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, and food equipment. The technician will utilize a range of tools and specialized equipment to ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using a variety of craft skills.

+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assigned tasks.

+ Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and use the work order management system to document reactive repair requests.

+ Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests on facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure operational efficiency.

+ Complete all required safety training to operate tools and equipment in compliance with company standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in facilities maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and troubleshooting.

+ Experience in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance.

+ Knowledge of lighting, building maintenance, and compressor systems.

+ Ability to operate hand tools and installation of electrical systems.

+ Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment or 5 years' experience in related trades.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Documentation of repairs.

+ Effective communication with team leaders.

+ Ability to use a computer for data input.

+ Must have a valid driver's license.

+ Certification in relevant maintenance fields is required.

Work Environment

The role involves working in various environments to perform essential functions. Shifts will vary based on business needs, including overnight work as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55993.60 - $58000.00/yr.
