Job Title: Carpenter

Responsibilities

+ Perform high-quality finish carpentry work, including trim and punch list tasks.

+ Travel directly to job sites to execute carpentry duties. (Less than 25%)

+ Collaborate with a team of skilled carpenters and participate in various team tasks.

+ Contribute to the construction and framing of structures as needed.

+ Uphold safety standards and ensure precision in all carpentry tasks.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in trim/finish carpentry.

+ Proficiency in stick framing is a plus.

+ Possession of personal carpentry tools.

+ Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with both rough and finish carpentry.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work indoors and outdoors during winter months.

Work Environment

The work environment involves collaborating with teams of 5 to 10 carpenters, under the leadership of an experienced team lead. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Projects are located in various sites including Shorewood, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Hudson, and Hastings. Adaptability to perform labor tasks and strong teamwork skills are essential for success in this dynamic environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Excelsior, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
