Job Title: Rework Technician** **Job Description
Utilize soldering equipment to rework components on circuit boards, ensuring functionality and adherence to standards. Conduct electrical continuity testing and inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) for compliance with IPC-A-610 standards. Document quality issues and collaborate with the engineering team to address escalated defects.
Responsibilities
+ Rework components on circuit boards that have failed inspection using soldering equipment.
+ Identify components based on drawings or electrical diagrams and replace them as needed.
+ Perform rework with lead-free solder, including both surface mount and thru-hole components.
+ Inspect PCBs for conformance to IPC-A-610 standards.
+ Document quality issues and escalate defects to the engineering group.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly.
+ Ability to identify and replace components using drawings or electrical diagrams.
+ Experience with lead-free soldering for surface mount and thru-hole components.
+ Previous rework experience with various board designs and layouts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working in a production environment.
+ Computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment
Work in a lean manufacturing environment that is clean, organized, and bright. The facility is generally quiet, though there may be exposure to a paint-like smell in some areas. The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $54080.00/yr.
