    Job Title: Assistant Operator** **Job Description

     

    In this role, you will be trained by our team to ensure you are set up for success. Daily tasks include gathering and moving materials to and from the production line, ensuring the quality of finished products, continuous training and understanding of the manufacturing process, and monitoring machine operations. You will experience a lot of collaboration, working in groups of 3-4 experienced individuals to perform daily manufacturing roles.

    Responsibilities

    + Gather and move materials to and from the production line.

    + Ensure the quality of finished products.

    + Participate in continuous training to understand the manufacturing process.

    + Monitor machine operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating machinery.

    + Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

    + Experience working a 2nd or 3rd shift.

    + Ability to be a team player, as this role involves a lot of collaboration and teamwork.

    + Must have a High School Diploma.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working off a work order.

    + Experience working in any type of industrial environment.

    + Machine operating experience can lead to higher pay rates and positions.

    Work Environment

    The position is offered for 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday to Friday) with a differential of $1.40, and 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday to Friday) with a differential of $2.00. The base pay for Utility Helper is $17.53, with 2nd shift at $18.93 and 3rd shift at $19.53. The base pay for Assistant Operator is $19.52, with 2nd shift at $20.92 and 3rd shift at $21.52.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holyoke, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.92 - $24.33/hr.
