    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Assembler, where you will work from Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime. The first shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the second shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Be prepared for possible early start times of 3:30 AM or 4:00 AM. Work in a collaborative environment assembling and inspecting sunglasses.

    Responsibilities

    + Work in teams of 3-4 to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish.

    + Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together, preparing them for lens installation and quality auditing.

    + Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.

    + Use small tools to insert screws or pins to secure frames.

    + Operate pad printing machines, mix paint, and troubleshoot malfunctions.

    + Sand and buff gate/burr off the center frame.

    + Submit products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.

    + Set up work stations at the start of the shift and adapt to building different models each day.

    + Rotate job duties to minimize repetitive movements.

    + Maintain flexibility as specific job duties and departmental assignments may change.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to work in a highly repetitive, short-cycle assembly environment.

    + Capability to stand and walk for 8-10+ hours a day.

    + Good attendance with a 'three strikes' mentality.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in assembly or production is helpful but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a casual dress code. Expect to stand throughout the shift, with daily metrics and highly repetitive short-cycle assembly. Close-toed shoes are required, and protective eyewear must be worn at all times.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $18.97/hr.
