Job Title: CNC Machine Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator who is proficient in operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Operate CNC machines efficiently, including setting up tooling, checking inserts, making offsets, and deburring finished parts.

+ Manufacture components accurately according to engineering prints and specifications.

+ Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure parts meet required standards.

+ Accurately document quality data and production metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.

+ Support preventive maintenance efforts by performing routine checks on CNC machines and promptly informing maintenance staff of any potential issues or abnormalities.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.

+ Review production schedules, prioritize tasks, and prepare equipment and materials for daily operations.

+ Conduct light corrective maintenance on machinery to address minor issues promptly.

+ Safely handle materials and components throughout the production process.

+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including the development and implementation of new fixturing and tooling solutions.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

+ Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

+ Familiarity with offsets and tool changes.

+ Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and ISO quality system requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Competency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

+ Effectively uses standard inspection tools to verify part conformity.

+ Quality and compliance awareness.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional voluntary overtime on Saturdays. The work environment is relaxed, not overly strict, and provides average benefits.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhorn, WI.

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $62400.00/yr.
