Job Title: Welder/Fabricator** **Job Description

The candidate will perform MIG welding on structural steel according to blueprint specifications. They will also be responsible for measuring and cutting their own material using a saw when necessary. Additionally, the candidate will operate an overhead crane to move material to their welding stations.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding on structural steel to blueprint specifications.

+ Measure and cut materials using a saw.

+ Utilize an overhead crane to move materials to welding stations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in welding, particularly MIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of experience in welding or a technical degree in welding.

+ At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints, work orders, or written instructions.

Work Environment

The company has a small, close-knit team of 36 employees, fostering a family-like and safety-oriented atmosphere. Employees are expected to wear jeans, shirts, and steel-toed boots, while PPE such as eye protection and hearing protection is provided, with gloves available upon request. The workweek is Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Fridays from 7:00 AM to around 12:00 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Austin, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $61360.00/yr.
