    Job Description

    Join our team as an **Industrial Maintenance Helper** , where you will assist skilled mechanics and technicians in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and facility systems. This role involves hands-on support with mechanical tasks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.

    + Support work on **hydraulic systems, motors, and mechanical components** .

    + Perform basic mechanical tasks such as tightening, lubricating, and replacing parts.

    + Help identify and repair leaks, and participate in restoration projects.

    + Carry out routine preventive maintenance under supervision.

    + Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + **Experience with hydraulics and motors** (installation, troubleshooting, and repair).

    + Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial systems.

    + Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

    + Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.

    + **Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)** for effective communication with the team.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Possession of personal hand tools is highly desirable.

    + Strong work ethic and willingness to learn advanced mechanical skills.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is in an industrial shop setting with exposure to machinery and mechanical systems. Expect hands-on work, use of various tools, and active participation in maintenance activities alongside experienced technicians.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
