    Job Title: Plumbing Foreman** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumbing Foreman to lead small crews on industrial and commercial installation projects. This role involves driving daily production, ensuring code compliance and quality, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining a strong safety culture while remaining hands-on with layout and tie-ins.

    Responsibilities

    + Plan and lead crews for layout, rough-in, and finish work for domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems.

    + Execute and oversee sleeves, hangers, carriers, fixture sets, equipment tie-ins, and testing.

    + Perform advanced tasks with copper, PVC, CPVC, and black iron, including cutting, threading, soldering/brazing, and pressure/leak testing.

    + Review prints and isometrics to confirm code compliance and manage inspections.

    + Coordinate with general contractors, MEP trades, and site supervision, and manage look-aheads and manpower.

    + Support material take-offs, delivery staging, and daily production reporting.

    + Enforce safety through toolbox talks and job hazard analysis, maintaining a clean and organized job site.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role with Journeyman level expertise.

    + Delaware Journeyman License or 7+ years of verifiable plumbing trade experience.

    + Strong track record with underground utilities and trench safety coordination.

    + Competency in reading plans and isometrics with a thorough understanding of applicable codes.

    + Effective communication, crew coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

    + OSHA-10 certification preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with blueprint reading, installation, cast iron, mechanical, hand and power tools, piping, and HVAC systems.

    + Experience with industrial and commercial construction, including new construction projects.

    Work Environment

    Work will primarily take place on industrial and commercial jobsites across Delaware. The position requires Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with potential overtime and weekend work based on project schedules and milestones. The work environment includes commercial/industrial new construction and renovation projects.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marcus Hook, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
