Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Assembler to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves utilizing hand and power tools for custom sheet metal assembly projects. The assembler will be responsible for using electro-mechanical and test equipment to assemble, wire, and test products, following sheet metal prints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize hand and power tools for custom sheet metal assembly projects.

+ Assemble components, make wiring connections, and test products using provided tools and equipment.

+ Accurately route, connect, fasten, and secure wires per diagrams or work instructions.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and work instructions.

+ Work from job tickets, manuals, or digital instructions.

+ Use inspection equipment to ensure custom dimensions and quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of experience with hand and power tools in mechanical assembly.

+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform wiring tasks.

+ 1+ year of electrical assembly experience preferred.

+ **High School education or GED equivalent is required.**

+ Previous assembly experience and ability to read electrical schematics.

+ Appropriate communication skills (Read, Write, Speak, Listen).

+ Process and detail-oriented, with the ability to discuss, deploy, and document best practices.

Work Environment

Work in a sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment with a moderate noise level. This position requires weekend shifts from 5am to 5:30pm, Friday through Sunday. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and pants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
