    We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician with extensive experience in oil systems, refrigeration, and commercial refrigeration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role demands strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in various environments and weather conditions.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including oil-fired systems.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

    + Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently.

    + Replace and repair worn or defective parts in HVAC and refrigeration systems.

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

    + Provide excellent customer service, including explaining issues and solutions to clients.

    + Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

    + Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors.

    + Handle emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician with oil experience, refrigeration, and commercial refrigeration.

    + Familiarity with HVAC blueprints and schematics.

    + Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration system operations and mechanics.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    + EPA certification for handling refrigerants.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficient in using power and hand tools for HVAC and refrigeration installation and repair.

    + Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.

    + Strong communication and customer service skills.

    + Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.

    + 5+ years of HVAC experience in refrigeration.

    Work Environment

    Work in a dynamic environment with various HVAC technologies including AC units, heating units, air handlers, air filters, heat pumps, ductwork, and sheet metal.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
