    Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist** **Job Description

     

    As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for setting up and operating Citizen Swiss CNC lathes, ensuring high-quality production runs, and maintaining tight tolerances.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate Citizen Swiss CNC lathes for production runs.

    + Load programs, set tool offsets, verify first-piece quality, and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.

    + Read and edit G-code/M-code; assist in optimizing Citizen programs for efficiency and accuracy.

    + Select and install tooling; perform tool changes and wear compensation.

    + Work with metals and plastics commonly used in precision machining.

    + Interpret blueprints and GD&T; perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.

    + Maintain accurate measurement records and apply SPC methods.

    + Diagnose and resolve Citizen machine and tooling issues.

    + Perform routine preventive maintenance on Citizen Swiss CNC machines.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience operating Citizen Swiss CNC lathes.

    + Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

    + Skilled in precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.

    + Experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0002").

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with multi-axis Citizen machines, live tooling, and sub-spindles.

    + Knowledge of CAM software (Mastercam, Esprit).

    + Background in medical or aerospace manufacturing.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Prague, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
