    Job Title: Yard Jockey** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Yard Jockey to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our loading and unloading processes. The work schedule is from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday.

    Responsibilities

    + Rotate trucks through loading docks as needed and park them once loaded.

    + Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.

    + Follow all safety procedures and protocols.

    + Handle trucks and PIT machines with caution.

    Essential Skills

    + One year of CDL A driving experience.

    + Forklift and power jack experience.

    + Ability to drive CDL trucks in close quarters in a yard setting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

    + Strong communication skills with coworkers.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Adherence to attendance and punctuality policies.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
