    Job Title: Shipping Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to accurately package, label, and ship products. The ideal candidate will ensure correct quantities, destinations, and routing for all shipments while maintaining inventory integrity.

    Responsibilities

    Accurately package, label, and ship products.

     

    Prepare bills of lading and verify items against packing slips to confirm correct quantities, destinations, and routing.

     

    Operate a forklift to load and unload shipments.

     

    Record and file shipment data, including weight, charges, space availability, and any discrepancies, for reporting and recordkeeping.

     

    Monitor and maintain inventory integrity.

     

    Practice and promote good housekeeping measures and support company efforts to comply with OSHA and environmental regulations.

     

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    Experience with packing, picking, shipping, and receiving.

     

    Ability to verify and maintain records of outgoing shipments.

     

    Proficiency in data entry and preparing bills of lading.

     

    Strong attention to detail.

     

    Additional Skills and Qualifications

     

    Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to obtain training.

     

    Effective written and verbal communication skills.

     

    Computer literacy; Microsoft Office experience preferred.

     

    Experience with UPS Worldship and/or Clippership preferred.

     

    Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

     

    Willingness to work overtime as needed.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates in a climate-controlled facility. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Once hired on directly, the schedule shifts to four 10-hour days from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with either Monday or Friday off, determined upon direct hire.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
