Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler where you will play a crucial role in assembling laminators, feeders, cutters, and vacuum presses. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and gathering necessary materials to construct both mechanical and electrical machine components.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble laminators, feeders, cutters, and vacuum presses.

+ Interpret blueprints to collect materials for machine components.

+ Wire electrical panels and utilize volt meters.

+ Connect motors ranging from 1-3 phases.

+ Assemble pulleys, belt chains, and panels.

+ Fabricate parts as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ 1-3 years of assembly experience or relevant schooling.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and work orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with automotive repair or any mechanical and technical work.

+ Ownership of personal tools is a plus.

Work Environment

Work the first shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM in a well-lit, air-controlled manufacturing and production facility. Experience a low production volume environment with a supportive team focused on quality planning and execution. Enjoy consistent and steady work with ample support from team members.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
