Job Title: Automation Controls Technician
Job Description
The Automation Controls Technician plays a crucial role in maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers by providing proactive controls, automation, and technical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex control systems, analyzing performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems, and implementing innovative projects using state-of-the-art technology such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices/programs.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with complex control systems.
+ Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems.
+ Implement innovative projects using advanced technologies like conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices/programs.
Essential Skills
+ Associates degree in PLC programming or 2+ years of equivalent professional experience.
+ Experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
+ Experience with robotics work cells and their control systems.
+ Proficiency in Ladder Logic and structure programming from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys PLCs.
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
+ 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products.
+ 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 2+ years of repairing MHE, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
+ 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
+ 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards.
+ 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.
+ High school or equivalent diploma.

Work Environment
This position is located in a brand-new, highly automated facility with robotic components. Performance will be tracked by data and numbers to ensure expectations are met, but without micromanagement. Candidates must be open to working any 12-hour shift, with options for day or night shifts from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Relocation assistance is offered.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $108000.00 - $118000.00/yr.
