    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role involves moving materials within the warehouse, including loading and unloading materials from warehouse racks, preparing materials for delivery to the production floor, and placing packed materials in hold racks until they are tagged for shipment. The successful candidate will match part and lot numbers to complete a full skid, use automated shrink-wrap machines, and load and off-load trucks for shipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Move materials located in the warehouse, including loading and unloading materials from warehouse racks.

    + Prepare materials for delivery to the production floor.

    + Place packed materials in hold racks until tagged for shipment.

    + Match part and lot numbers to complete a full skid and use automated shrink-wrap machines.

    + Load trucks for shipment and off-load trucks.

    Essential Skills

    + Material handling experience.

    + Production experience.

    + General labor skills.

    + Packing and picking experience.

    + Unloading and packaging experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in manufacturing.

    + Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day.

    + Comfortable dealing with explosives.

    + Tech-savvy with experience using automated equipment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment equipped with automated production equipment for making airbag inflators. Note that no lighters, matches, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, vape pens, or e-cigarettes are allowed on site; these items must remain in your car. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift from 6 AM – 2:30 PM, 2nd shift from 2 PM – 10:30 PM, and 3rd shift from 10 PM – 6:30 AM. The first day is always on a Tuesday from 8 AM - 4:30 PM, after which you'll begin your designated shift. Be prepared to work 6-7 days per week, with a rotating schedule of 6 days on and 2 consecutive days off. Days off rotate to give everyone equal opportunities to have weekends off.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.55/hr.
