Job Title: Maintenance Manager** **Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department, overseeing a team of technicians, supervisors, and support staff. You will manage plant equipment and facilities maintenance, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee the maintenance department, including technicians, apprentices, supervisors, and automation techs.

+ Manage plant equipment and all facilities maintenance.

+ Collaborate with external vendors as necessary.

+ Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.

+ Adhere to and manage the maintenance budget.

+ Identify and fulfill departmental needs for tools, equipment, and supplies.

+ Coordinate activities of external contractors for repair, installation, or construction work.

+ Manage building space allocations, layout changes, and support facility expansion or renovation projects.

+ Oversee facilities maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and welding.

+ Provide emergency maintenance support across all shifts as needed.

+ Hold maintenance team members and vendors accountable for performance and deadlines.

+ Maintain effective working relationships with vendors and service providers.

Essential Skills

+ At least 7 years of maintenance experience and 5 years of management experience.

+ Experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably as a tier one supplier.

+ Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

+ Experience managing a department budget and capital planning.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS experience.

+ Willingness to be on call for plant emergencies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Union experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a direct hire position with day shift hours, offering flexibility to set your schedule based on departmental needs. Be prepared to be on call for emergencies. You'll oversee a team across multiple shifts in a union facility, though the position itself is non-union. The company specializes in producing hard tops for vehicles, with temperature conditions that can vary. This is a Permanent position based out of Carey, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
