    Job Title: Orbital Welder

    PAY: $30-$45

    Job Description

    Engage in TIG and Orbital Tube Welding on Inconel, Monel, 300 - 400 series, and exotic alloys within an aerospace environment. The role requires welding expertise on materials ranging from .001 to .250 thickness. Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as ASME, ANSI, and D17.1 is essential. Candidates must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols, as well as inputting welding schedules using orbital welding software like Orbitalum.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG and Orbital Tube Welding on specified materials and alloys.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes including ASME, ANSI, and D17.1.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

    + Utilize orbital welding software to input and manage welding schedules.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in welding, TIG welding, and orbital welding techniques.

    + Experience with Orbital Tube Welding (OTW) and TIG Welding (GTAW).

    + Ability to perform Laser Welding and Lathe Welding.

    + Minimum of 5 years experience in welding with a focus on advanced techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No certifications required.

    + Must pass three welding tests: .011-butt weld, .125 butt weld, and .060 butt weld on Stainless steel and Inconel.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
