Installer II – Job Description

Position Details

+ **Shift:** 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

+ **Pay:** $24/hr

+ **Contract Length:** 3 months

+ **Start Date:** **February 9, 2026**

Overview

The Installer II role is more technical than Installer I and is ideal for mechanically inclined candidates. This position involves working with hand and power tools, performing installations, and supporting the setup of machinery and robotics.

You’ll assist with the installation of **20 robotic arms** , **40 sub‑stations** , and **internal site fencing** , with most work taking place on the mezzanine and sub‑mezzanine levels.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support project teams with commissioning, warehouse cleaning, and building robotic arms and stations

+ Move, strap, and catalog materials using pallet jacks

+ Use hand tools and air‑powered tools to commission towers following diagrams

+ Follow step‑by‑step installation instructions

+ Run wiring for product power supply

+ Perform general labor tasks including heavy lifting, material handling, and transporting materials via elevator and pallet jack

Required Skills

+ Assembly experience

+ Proficiency with hand tools

+ Robotics experience (preferred)

+ General labor or construction experience

+ Loading, packaging, and cleaning experience

Qualifications

+ Ability to lift **40–50 lbs** consistently

+ Comfortable working **8‑hour shifts on hard cement floors**

+ Strong attendance and reliability

+ Able to take direction well

+ Open to working across multiple roles (inventory, housekeeping, etc.)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
