    Forklift Operator – 1st Shift $18

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

    **Training Period:** 1–3 weeks

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking reliable **Production Associates** to join our team in East Moline, IL. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations across multiple departments, including **Cell, Saw Operator, Receiving, Shipping** , and other areas as needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, variety in daily tasks, and opportunities to grow.

     

    Your main responsibilities include pulling copper tubing and pipes for major customers, preparing materials for shipment, and ensuring all products are packaged safely and accurately.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Move pipe to designated pick locations

    + Accurately and efficiently pull customer orders

    + Bar code and label pipes according to specifications

    + Bundle and wrap pipes for shipment

    + Cut pipes based on detailed cut sheets

    + Identify and segregate scrap materials

    + Wrap products securely for shipment

    + Assist with truck unloading and loading

    + Prepare outbound shipments with proper labeling and packaging

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production and forklift

    + Proficient use of hand tools and operating basic machinery

    + Ability to perform inventory tasks, loading, unloading, and material handling

    + Knowledge of shipping, receiving, assembly, labeling, and packaging processes

    Additional Qualifications

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

    + Able to work in a fast‑paced environment

    + Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

    Work Environment

    + Non‑climate‑controlled warehouse

    + Hot in summer

    + Cold in winter

    + Noise level varies from quiet to loud depending on department and tools

    + Physical, hands‑on work environment

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
