    Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Port Deposit, MD. This role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery at a sand and gravel plant.

    Responsibilities

    + Effectively operate a front end loader, dozer, haul truck, and/or excavator.

    + Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.

    + Interact with customers, co-workers, and management in a courteous and respectful manner.

    + Maintain constant awareness of safety and efficiency while demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving capabilities.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as front end loaders, dozers, haul trucks, and excavators.

    + A minimum of 4 years of loader experience.

    + Ability to operate forklifts.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Deposit, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
