Job Title: Downstream Operators
Job Description
As a Downstream Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the final product meets customer specifications by utilizing standard tools and measuring devices. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the product is wrapped around the reel in an even and neat manner while maintaining a vigilant check on the product's quality. You'll also use basic hand tools and some power tools to cut conduit as it comes down the line, and verify packaging and labeling before the product goes out the door for final inspection.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize standard tools and measuring devices to ensure product meets specifications.
+ Ensure the final product is wrapped neatly and evenly around the reel.
+ Maintain quality control of the product.
+ Use basic hand tools and power tools to cut conduit.
+ Check packaging and labeling before final inspection.
Essential Skills
+ Production experience
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ 6+ months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
+ Experience with machine operation, packaging, and inspection
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable working around machinery
+ Experience with basic hand tools and assembly
+ General labor and machine operating skills

Work Environment
Work a 12-hour shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule, providing a three-day weekend every other weekend. The role entails alternating between 48-hour and 36-hour work weeks. This is a contract role extending through next year, with potential for conversion to a permanent position after 6 months based on performance and interest. The position is flexible for those seeking temporary work only.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
