Job Title: Maintenance Technician III** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to conduct highly complex troubleshooting and repair of equipment with precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, providing innovative solutions for recurring problems, and adhering to preventative maintenance protocols. Documenting corrective actions and repairs thoroughly is essential, as is continuously enhancing your skills through formal training and hands-on problem-solving.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct highly complex troubleshooting and repair of down equipment to root cause in a timely and efficient manner.

+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.

+ Provide solutions for repeated problems and equipment deficiencies.

+ Perform preventative maintenance according to PM specifications and safety procedures.

+ Thoroughly and accurately document corrective actions and repairs.

+ Work on assignments that may vary from routine to highly complex, requiring judgment and analysis.

+ Continuously improve skill sets through formal training and on-the-job experience.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with maintenance of industrial equipment, boilers, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and test machines.

+ Strong skills in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

+ Proficiency in running diagnostic software and PLCs.

+ Competence in plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Thorough understanding of mechanical, electro-mechanical, hardware, and software in a development environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.

+ Technical understanding of Hard Disk Drives and their components.

+ Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and relational skills.

+ Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team.

+ 5-7 years of relevant experience.

You will be working in cleanroom manufacturing, lab, and office environments. The role requires a meticulous approach to maintain standards and ensure safety in all operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
