Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description

Candidates will work in both the mechanical and electrical areas of the production shop. The role involves assembling small components such as manifolds used in larger products and PC boards for various equipment. Candidates will be provided with tools, parts, and a detailed procedures document to guide them through each step of the assembly process. Training on the use of test equipment, such as multimeters and power testing equipment, will be provided.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble small mechanical and electrical components according to provided procedures.

+ Use hand tools to perform assembly tasks.

+ Follow step-by-step guides to complete assembly processes.

+ Operate test equipment such as multimeters and power testing devices.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly.

+ Basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience reading blueprints for soldering is a plus.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very nice, air-conditioned shop where each assembler has their own workstation. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with half days on Friday and occasional overtime as needed. Employees can expect to work 5-10 hours of overtime frequently.

This is a Contract position based out of Katy, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
