Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator, where you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process. You will work with hand and power tools such as drills and rivet guns to contribute to our assembly and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize hand and power tools, including drills and rivet guns, for assembly tasks.

+ Select and measure appropriate materials for various projects using tape measures and calipers.

+ Perform mechanical assembly and riveting tasks as per blueprints.

+ Handle sheet metal and engage in crating and construction activities.

+ Operate punch presses and other machinery for production purposes.

+ Follow and execute work orders efficiently.

+ Ensure quality and precision in all assembly and manufacturing tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with assembly, mechanical tools, and sheet metal.

+ Familiarity with warehouse and manufacturing environments.

+ Comfortable standing and walking for the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in sheet metal, construction, or similar fields.

+ Knowledge of material handling and machine operation.

+ Ability to work with cutting tools and perform mechanical assembly.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing warehouse that focuses on sheet metal production. The environment is not climate-controlled and involves loud machinery. Expect to stand on a cement floor for the majority of your shift, with the possibility of working outside depending on job requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
