    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    Join a large manufacturing facility in Anderson, IN as a Warehouse Worker. This role involves working in the distribution center on both morning and night shifts, engaging in picking, loading, and receiving tasks. The position is an open-ended contract with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order specifications.

    + Safely operate an electric pallet jack to transport products throughout the warehouse.

    + Use scanning equipment to ensure correct items are picked and track inventory.

    + Double-check picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.

    + Place picked items onto pallets in a secure and organized manner.

    + Pull pallets off the conveyor and scan them using provided equipment.

    + Utilize the SAP system to determine the appropriate door for each pallet.

    + Transport pallets to the designated door using a sit-down forklift.

    + Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the loading process.

    + Identify the correct door for incoming shipments using the SAP system.

    + Unload shipments from trucks and other delivery vehicles.

    + Stage the area for the next order by ensuring tags and labels are correct.

    + Maintain a clean and organized receiving area and follow all safety guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Willingness to operate an electric pallet jack.

    + Willingness to learn and operate a sit-down forklift.

    + Ability to work in cold temperatures.

    + Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task.

    Available Shift & Pay

    + Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am on a 2/2/3 schedule

    + training for the first two weeks will be Sunday through Thursday, 6:00pm - 2:00am.

    + **$20, increased to $24 after 4 months.**

    Work Environment

     

    The warehouse is maintained at 45 degrees, with all necessary cold-weather equipment provided. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed or composite-toed shoes, with bibs and gloves provided for cold weather. The work schedule for the night shift includes Sunday to Thursday, with hours from 6 PM to 2 AM during the training period, transitioning to a 6 PM to 6 AM schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation after training. Breaks include two 20-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid break.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
