Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Taper / Drywall Finisher to perform taping and spackling on walls and ceilings. This role requires expertise in drywall finishing, including the use of taping tools and other finishing equipment. Your work will contribute to creating smooth and flawless surfaces in various exciting projects.
Responsibilities
+ Perform taping and spackling on walls and ceilings using appropriate materials on commercial projects.
+ Utilize Level 5 automatic taping tools, pumps, and corner tools effectively.
+ Apply an additional skim coat of joint compound over entire surfaces for a high-quality finish.
+ Complete punch lists and finish carpentry tasks as required.
+ Ensure all work is completed in a dust-controlled environment, especially in medical office spaces.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in taping and spackling techniques.
+ Experience with Level 5 automatic taping and finishing tools.
+ Ability to perform finish carpentry and work with drywall materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ OSHA 30 certification is required.
+ Must have a reliable vehicle or transportation.

Work Environment
This role involves working in medical office spaces, requiring attention to dust control. The work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Patchogue, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
