Building Maintenance Engineer
**Location:** Buffalo, NY (14207)
**Schedule:** Full-time | Day Shift | On-site (single facility)
Overview
We’re hiring a skilled **Building Maintenance Engineer** to take ownership of the day-to-day reliability and performance of our facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and keeping building systems operating at peak efficiency. You’ll support one dedicated site, eliminating the chaos of multi-location service work.

What You’ll Do
As our on-site maintenance expert, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of all building systems, including:
+ Maintain, inspect, and service HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and lighting systems
+ Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC equipment and building automation controls
+ Perform component-level HVAC replacements and upgrades
+ Complete electrical work including conduit bending, wire pulls, troubleshooting panels, and motor maintenance
+ Support plumbing, refrigeration, and general mechanical systems
+ Conduct interior and exterior facility repairs including lighting, structural elements, and general upkeep
+ Track parts, tools, and supplies to ensure proper inventory levels
+ Proactively identify system improvements and reliability risks
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/building maintenance
+ Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration
+ Ability to troubleshoot systems independently and follow safety protocols
+ Comfort working hands-on in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
Preferred Credentials
+ EPA Universal Certification
+ OSHA 10 Certification
+ Experience working with building automation systems
Nice-to-Have Experience
+ Boilers or steam systems
+ Carpentry or light construction
+ General facility or plant maintenance experience

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
