    Job Title: Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    Responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, and products within a warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate and timely handling of inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. May also support facilities maintenance and delivery operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products.

    + Ensure accurate inventory management, shipping, and receiving tasks.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

    + Verify packing lists and label inventory correctly.

    + Perform quality checks on products and materials.

    + Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

    + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

    + Manage warehouse operations such as picking, packing, and shipping.

    + Support facilities maintenance and assist in delivery operations.

    + Drive company vehicles as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in forklift operation and inventory management.

    + Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).

    + Strong attention to detail in verifying packing lists and labeling.

    + Basic computer skills for printing forms and creating shipping labels.

    + Effective communication and organizational skills.

    + Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods.

    + Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 1+ year of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory preferred.

    + Basic math skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

    + Familiarity with FedEx shipping systems is a plus.

    + Safety-conscious and dependable.

    Work Environment

     

    Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and storage areas. Requires physical activity including lifting, standing, and walking. Collaborative team atmosphere with cross-functional support. May include driving to nearby facilities or labs. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saddle Brook, NJ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
