Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks according to blueprint specifications. This includes determining the proper welds, callouts, and positions needed to complete each job efficiently. The role primarily involves MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel, with occasional duties such as cutting, organizing, and staging materials for other employees. You will also be fabricating by operating machines, grinding, cutting insulation, and finishing parts.

Responsibilities

+ Weld according to blueprint specifications.

+ Determine proper welds, callouts, and positions.

+ Read detailed welding blueprints and complete tasks promptly.

+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel (7 gauge - 1/4'').

+ Assist with cutting material, organizing, and staging for other employees.

+ Engage in fabricating tasks such as operating machines, grinding, cutting insulation, and finishing parts.

Essential Skills

+ MIG welding expertise.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.

+ Shop math skills.

+ Experience with blueprints and welding symbols is preferred.

+ Comfortable with fabricating as needed, including TIG, flux core, TIG welding, using tape measures, and working with sheet metal and mild steel.

+ A stable work history.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
