Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform comprehensive mechanical inspections of machined parts. The role involves conducting first article, receiving, and final inspections of parts, assemblies, and operations as per work instructions. Utilizing precision measurement tools, the inspector will ensure compliance with the highest quality standards.

2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm

Pay $25-$40 DOE

Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical inspections of machined parts using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.

+ Conduct first article, receiving, WIP, and final inspections of parts, assemblies, and operations.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and sophisticated inspection plans.

+ Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimension & Tolerances).

Essential Skills

+ High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.

+ 5+ years of experience in inspection of mechanical components in aerospace or defense-related companies.

+ Proficient with standard inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and CMM.

+ Ability to read and interpret Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $54.25/hr.
