    SMT Operator

     

    Paying $18 / HR

    Responsibilities:

    + Operate SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens,

    + Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, and Wash Machines

    + Set up and teardown SMT machines according to detailed work instructions

    + Load feeders with electronic components according to setup sheets

    + Verify components and follow production documentation

    + Make minor machine adjustments and clear machine jams as needed

    + Position PCBs on machine fixtures and monitor machine operation

    + Perform visual inspection of assembled boards for quality issues

    + Complete production records and batch logs accurately

    + Follow all safety procedures and protocols

    Qualifications:

    + No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided

    + High school diploma or GED preferred

    + Strong vision and hand-eye coordination

    + Ability to follow detailed written instructions

    + Basic computer skills

    + Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks

    + Attention to detail and commitment to quality

    + Ability to work well in a team environment

    + Reliable attendance and punctuality

    Environment / Shift:

    + Lean manufacturing environment - clean and organized. Work environment is bright and fairly quiet, sometimes may be exposed to a paint like smell in certain areas.

    + Day shift: 6:30am - 3:00 PM

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
