    **Location:** Waterloo, IA

     

    About the Role

     

    We are looking for a **Shipping & Receiving Material Handler** to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, to receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies. You’ll also use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accurate inventory control and material disposition.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move racks, containers, pallets, and crates.

    + Load, unload, stack, and relocate materials within assigned areas.

    + Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.

    + Gather finished orders for outbound shipping and ensure proper labeling.

    + Verify products are free of damage, shortages, or overages.

    + Complete all required paperwork accurately.

    + Maintain compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.

    + Secure materials for transport and maintain a clean work area (sweeping, removing scrap, pallets, cardboard).

    + Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift operation and material handling.

    + Inventory management and shipping/receiving experience.

    + RF scanner usage for accurate tracking.

    + Ability to load, pick, and organize materials efficiently.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma required.

    + 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    + Previous experience with RF scanning equipment.

    + Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
