    Job Title: Order Selector** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our Sample Fulfillment Department. The successful candidate will work in a samples warehouse, actively selecting orders by hand, cutting wallpaper to size, and preparing packages for shipment to our customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Select orders by hand accurately and efficiently.

    + Cut wallpaper to specified sizes.

    + Pack and prepare items to be shipped to customers.

    + Stand for 8-10 hours during shifts.

    + Lift items weighing between 10-15 lbs as needed.

    + Read and follow detailed instructions to ensure correct materials are packed for each client.

    + Use computers to print labels and prepare packages for shipment.

    + Potentially cross-trained in equipment operation upon being hired.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in packing, picking, and order selecting.

    + Competence in using computers for processing orders.

    + Ability to accurately measure materials.

    + Experience in production, inventory management, and order picking.

    + Knowledge of RF scanners.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read and follow instructions meticulously.

    + Experience in conducting quality checks.

    Work Environment

    The work environment resembles a retail store setting but functions as a warehouse and manufacturing space. It is a smaller scale operation dealing mostly with customer samples. The role includes working on the first shift from 8 AM to 4:30 PM or the second shift from 2 PM to 10 PM, with overtime scheduled as needed. Breaks include two 10-minute and one 20-minute paid break, with restrictions on leaving during the 20-minute lunch.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
