Job Title: Light Industrial Assembler - Supervisor** **Job Description
Responsible for directing the daily activities on the shop floor, fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and pride in workmanship. This position oversees all operational responsibilities of the fabrication shop, including scheduling, inventory, staffing, shop expense management, personnel management, shipping, customer service, vendor relations, and safety. As a working supervisor, you will also fill in on production duties as needed. The role involves reviewing, researching, and analyzing quality-related data, identifying problems, offering resolutions, and performing reporting activities. Collaboration with the Branch Manager and Corporate Quality Manager is crucial to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Forms are maintained and updated as required.
Responsibilities
+ Work as a production supervisor on the floor, making hoses when necessary.
+ Understand workflow and supervise production orders/tickets.
+ Manage and report the maintenance and cleanliness of the shop and supplies, including saws and forklifts.
+ Ensure materials are stored in the correct location upon arrival.
+ Learn and effectively use the computer system.
+ Supervise and participate in inventory cycle counts.
+ Monitor stock quantities and coordinate with quality personnel to ensure accuracy.
+ Open and close the shop, adhering to the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and as needed.
+ Maintain hours for temporary employees and report to the temp agency.
+ Participate in counting inventory and maintaining organized stock.
+ Measure, cut, crimp, wrap, and attach fittings on hoses for shipment.
+ Assist with order entry and the repair of hydraulic components using micrometers.
+ Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading products.

+ Experience with assembling hydraulic hoses and using crimpers
+ Must lift up to 50 pounds independently

Work Environment
The work environment is a smaller facility with roughly five shop team members. Employees should be comfortable learning every aspect of the shop and being cross-trained. Independent work and small team collaborations are essential once training is completed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
