Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will handle and manage bags of product, frequently weighing between 1-20 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. The role involves reading ingredients, counting pallets, placing scoops and lids on cans or jars, and stacking, sealing, and bagging products as they come off the production line. You will also be responsible for dumping bags into appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Handle bags of product weighing up to 100 pounds.

+ Read ingredients and count bags on pallets.

+ Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and secure lids.

+ Stack and seal bags or cans of product from production lines.

+ Bag products and dump them into equipment on production lines.

Essential Skills

+ General production and lifting

+ Quality control, assembly, and packaging

+ Proficiency in hand and power tools

+ Machine operation and packing

+ Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.36 - $23.59/hr.
