    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically skilled Assistant Technician to support electronic device diagnostics and repair. This role focuses on analyzing failed cell phones, performing component-level repairs, and documenting completed work. Candidates should have a strong eye for detail, basic troubleshooting ability, and comfort working hands‑on with small electronic parts.

     

    This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering long‑term growth within a well‑established, family‑owned company in the communications industry.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze failed cell phones using established methods and procedures.

    + Troubleshoot technical issues and provide break‑and‑fix solutions within designated timeframes.

    + Disassemble and reassemble cell phones into cosmetically acceptable housing.

    + Remove and replace LCD screens.

    + Remove and reinstall components such as motherboards, batteries, and screws.

    + Perform component replacements and ensure devices meet quality standards.

    + Remain flexible and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    + Strong attention to detail and a focus on high‑quality repairs.

    + Basic troubleshooting skills for electronic devices.

    + Basic computer skills, including the ability to document completed repairs.

    + Comfort working with small tools, delicate components, and repetitive tasks.

    Hours & Compensation

    + **Pay:** $18.00 per hour

    + **Shift:** Monday–Friday, **7:00 AM–3:30 PM**

    + **Employment Type:** Contract‑to‑Hire

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
