Job Title: Production Associate

Pay- $20- $22/hr

Job Description

We specialize in the design and manufacture of advanced fuel systems, producing CNG fuel storage systems and tanks for trucks and big rigs. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology and equipment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

+ Accurately interpret and prepare detailed work instructions and procedures.

+ Operate assembly tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment proficiently.

+ Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and best practices.

+ Assist with filament winding operations, including resin application and tool maintenance.

+ Support rotomolding processes through material preparation and boss recovery tasks.

+ Perform tank labeling and foam dome installation with precision and care.

+ Assemble and package products to meet or exceed quality standards and delivery timelines.

+ Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.

+ Clean and lubricate equipment.

+ Load and provide raw materials, such as resin and paxon.

+ Support filament winding tasks such as resin squeezing, tool cleaning, and setting up floor mats.

+ Dispose of all scrap resin, fiber, and cardboards responsibly.

+ Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1.5 years of production or machine operation experience.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Experience with visual instruction sheets or blueprints is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with resin, epoxy, composite, Kevlar, pre-preg, composite material, fiberglass, and carbon fiber.

+ Knowledge of torque wrench usage is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean, large manufacturing facility with multiple machines running. It is not too industrial and provides a comfortable setting. The facility operates on a structured schedule, with first and second shifts available, and overtime may be required, including Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
