Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler** **Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for operating power industrial trucks and machinery to move products, materials, and supplies efficiently from one area to another. The role involves loading items on trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets, as well as operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Responsibilities
+ Operate power industrial trucks and machinery to transport products and materials.
+ Load items onto trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets.
+ Utilize stand-up and sit-down forklifts for material handling.
+ Manage inventory and order picking using RF scanners.
+ Perform general labor tasks including unloading materials.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ months of experience operating forklifts (stand-up or sit-down).
+ Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs.
+ Proficiency in basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with RF scanners and order picking.
+ Familiarity with inventory management and material handling.

Work Environment
The work environment is manufacturing and production-based, with exposure to high and precarious places, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature and humidity, as well as dust, odors, and fumes. It can be loud at times. Shifts are available: A/B Shift from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM, C/D Shift from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM, and Packaging shifts including Days (6 AM - 2:30 PM), Mids (2:30 PM - 11 PM), and Nights (10:30 PM - 7 AM). The environment is not climate-controlled, resulting in very hot conditions during summer and normal temperatures in winter. Steel-toed footwear is required, and casual attire such as jeans or shorts is acceptable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
