Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description
Program various CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as 3 and 5 axis cutting, CNC Lathe, and router programming to form or shape manufactured parts from raw materials.
Responsibilities
+ Use CAD/CAM programming system to convert engineering drawings and change orders into machine G Code format.
+ Implement changes to machine programs and enter new specifications.
+ Program future jobs while machines are operating and ensure the current revision level is accurate.
+ Complete all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner.
+ Inspect and evaluate production parts to blueprint specifications.
+ Design, build, and repair a variety of basic mechanical and specialty equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned departmental equipment/machinery.
Essential Skills
+ 3 years of CNC Programming experience
+ 3 years of Catia experience
+ Proficiency in machining, blueprint reading, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
+ Experience with CNC Lathe and Mill operations
+ Knowledge of aircraft manufacturing processes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Five years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
+ Great attention to detail
+ Good written and oral communication skills
+ Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair, and maintenance

Work Environment
Work will take place in a non-climate controlled facility located in Wichita, KS. The dress code is pants/shorts and a shirt, with no tank tops or cut-offs allowed. Be open to working both 1st shift (Mon-Fri; 6:30am-3pm) and 2nd shift (Mon-Fri; 3pm-11:30pm).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
