Instrumentation Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Instrumentation Technician to support the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation and control systems. This role requires technical expertise and strong collaboration skills to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation systems (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
+ Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on instrumentation and control equipment.
+ Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools/software and implement timely solutions.
+ Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and calibrations.
+ Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to optimize performance.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulations.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
+ Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with diagnostic tools, calibration equipment, and control systems.
+ Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
+ Familiarity with CMMS software and digital maintenance tracking.
+ Knowledge of industry standards (ISA, ANSI, NEC).
+ Ability to work independently and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
+ Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
+ Computer literacy in relevant systems/software.
Work Environment
+ Based in a large warehouse with in-warehouse transportation provided.
+ Requires standing for most of the day in a somewhat dirty environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Round Rock, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
